The House Today

Hello brother of Kappa Psi Upsilon we as an active house have been doing well keeping everything important pertaining to the fraternity still thriving to this day. Things have changed in the last 3-4 years with our fraternity to where it is today. Since 2017 the active brothers fought to get our house fully recognized by Alfred State College. They decided to put us on an 18-month provisionary status and have us change our colors and letters if we were going to be a recognized fraternity under Alfred State College. We didn’t want to do this but in order to achieve this it needed to be done so, we changed our letters to Lambda Tau Phi and our colors to purple, black, and grey. After the provisionary status in 2018 the brotherhood received full recognition from Alfred State College. Ever since this big accomplishment achieved by the fraternity, we have been continuing on taking steps in accomplishing tasks to keep bringing success upon the brotherhood.

 

Goals to Accomplish

The next step we would like to take as a house is making the current house where we reside at which is 26 South Main Street our house under an LLC. In order to achieve this goal, it is going to take the efforts of the entire brotherhood. This is the best time to make this happen because interest rates have gone down on houses in Alfred with the pandemic going on. If any brothers are able to make any contributions this it would be greatly appreciated by the active brotherhood and the alumni board.
